Captain of the Ferrum College women’s 1982 State Championship and 1983 basketball teams. Named Fastbreak All-American in 1982. Played in the 1983 Association of Intercollegiate Athletics for Women National Tournament. Named All-State at both Ferrum College and Radford College in 1984 and 1986, respectively. Earned a Bachelor of Science degree in child development from Radford College. Member of the National Association of Early Childhood Education. Little League basketball coach. Currently a teacher at the Downtown Hampton Child Development Center.
