Ferrum College

Debra Hayes played Ferrum College basketball, tennis and volleyball. She was a member of the first women’s tennis and volleyball teams at Ferrum College. She was the first female athlete to receive the Ferrum College President’s Cup Award. She earned a bachelor’s of arts degree from Emory and Henry College where she played basketball, tennis and volleyball. She coached basketball, track and volleyball at Marion Middle School.
