GREENSBORO, N.C. -- The Ferrum College baseball team earned a USA South split with Greensboro College, picking up a 7-2 win this afternoon at War Memorial Stadium. The win avenged yesterday's 3-2 setback to the Pride.
Kevin Marshall led the way offensively, going 3-3 with a double, two RBI and a run.
Jesse Fuller went 3-4 with a double and two runs.

Jason Butterworth had a pair of base hits each.
Greensboro (10-12, 1-1 USA South) got two base hits each from Ryan Laboy and Josh Montague. Montague hit a solo home run to left-center in the bottom of the second inning.
Jon Wilson got the win for Ferrum. He scattered six hits over six innings, allowed one earned run, walked one and struck out four.
Michael Baskeyfield was credited with the save, pitching the final three innings and allowing one hit. Richard Allred absorbed the loss for the Pride. He allowed seven hits and three earned runs in six innings, while walking one and fanning five.
Ferrum (10-7, 2--2 USA South) returns to action Wednesday, March 25, at home against Emory & Henry College. The non-conference game gets underway at 5:30 p.m. at Panther Field.
