DANVILLE, Va. -- Ferrum College closed out its 2011 volleyball season with a 3-0 loss to Peace College in the opening round of the 2011 USA South Tournament.  The play-in game between the #10 seed Panthers and #7 Peace took place at Averett University.

Set scores were 25-15, 25-22, 25-13.  Leah Quinones had 17 assists and nine digs for Ferrum.  Jordan Link had six kills to go with 13 digs, while Kayla Trippeer had 12 kills and Kellee Lewis had 10 digs.

Ferrum closed out the season at 0-31.  The Pacers (15-20) moved on to play #2 Averett at 7 p.m. in the quarterfinals, falling 3-1 to close out their 2011 campaign.  Averett advanced to the Friday's semifinals with the win.
