ROANOKE, Va. -- Kayla Trippeer had 11 kills to lead Ferrum College in a 3-0 non-conference volleyball loss to Hollins University Sept. 10 on the road.  Trippeer also had five digs and a service ace.

Leah Quinones registered 18 assists, four service aces and a pair of digs.  Bridget Atkinson led the Panthers in digs with 10.  Jordan Link had five kills and six digs, while Rachel Stratton had four kills in the loss.

Hollins (2-6) was led by Ally Reed's eight kills.  Mandi McDade and Simone Mendez had seven kills each, while Angie Moreno had 22 assists.

Ferrum (0-3) returns to action Tuesday, Sept. 13, at home against non-conference opponent Southern Virginia University.  The Panthers' home opener gets underway at 7 p.m. at Swartz Gymnasium.
