FERRUM, Va. -- The Ferrum College volleyball team dropped both ends of a USA South quad meet, falling 3-0 to Peace College and Meredith College.  Set scores against Peace were 25-12, 25-14, 25-16.  Set scores against Meredith were 25-13, 25-11, 25-15.

Against Peace, Jordan Link had five of the Panthers' 18 kills.  Leah Quinones dished out 10 assists and Kayla Trippeer had 13 digs.  In the loss to Meredith, Trippeer had 10 kills and 10 digs.  Quinones had 16 assists and Olivia Treto had 12 digs.

In the other two matches played at Ferrum today. Christopher Newport University beat Peace 3-0 (25-8, 25-18, 25-10) and Meredith 3-0 (25-10, 25-9, 25-14).

Ferrum (0-7, 0-2 USA South) looks to pick up its first win of the season Wednesday, Sept. 21, at Averett University.  The USA South match gets underway at 7 p.m. in Danville, Virginia.
