Rocky Mount, N.C. - Ferrum College completed a USA South baseball sweep over North Carolina Wesleyan College by winning today's game 6-5.  The Panthers also won 5-1 Friday.

Eddie McGrath's RBI single in the eighth inning allowed Wes Walker to score the winning run.  McGrath belted a three-run homer in Friday's win. 

Javen Metz was credited with the win this afternoon, while Justin Puentes earned the save.  N.C. Wesleyan (5-6, 0-2) got a pair of base hits from Tyler Clark, including a two-run homer in the third inning.

Ferrum (6-1, 2-0) will play a five-game stretch March 27 through March 1 in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, competing in the Cal Ripken Tournament.  The panthers open with the College of Staten Siland and Johnson & Wales University on the 27th.
