Peter Byron went 3-3 with a double, a stolen base, three runs and an RBI to lift Ferrum College to a 12-3 non-conference baseball win over Virginia Intermont College tonight at Panther Field.

Josh Motto got the win for Ferrum (10-5), scattering six hits and two earned runs over seven innings with three strikeouts and two walks.
Javin Metz pitched the filan two innings, allowing no hits or runs, while striking out two and walking one.

Brennen Iley and
Jason Parker each had two base hits in the win. Parker went 2-2 with two stolen bases, two RBI and a run. Walker went 2-5 with a stolen base, a run and an RBI. Iley went 2-4 and scored a pair of runs.
Greg Cassady and Ed Clark both had two base hits for Virginia Intermont (4-12). Ferrum hosts Washington and Lee University, Thursday, March 8, at 3 p.m. at Panther Field.
