FERRUM, Va. -- Greensboro College scored five runs in the second inning to fuel an 8-3 USA South baseball win over Ferrum College tonight at Panther Field.
Michael Cobb pitched a complete game for the Pride (21-12, 6-6 USA South), scattering nine hits, three earned runs and three walks over nine innings, with three strikeouts.
Paul Jaglowski went 2-4 with a run for Ferrum, and ran his hitting streak to 24 games. The loss makes Ferrum the #5 seed in this week's USA South Tournament.

Daniel Alvarez were honored with a special Senior Day ceremony. Jaglowski was also named the 2012 recipient of the Ferrum College president's Cup.
