FERRUM, Va. -- Ferrum College posted a 10-0 non-conference field hockey win over visiting Sweet Briar College this afternoon at W.B. Adams Stadium. Prior to the game, a Senior Day ceremony was held for four graduating players.

THE BASICS
Christina Moore scored the eventual game-winner for Ferrum in the eighth minute of play. The score remained 1-0 Ferrum until Alexandra Madden notched the first of her three goals today at the 30:31 mark. It was all downhill from there as the Panthers would score five more times in the next 20 minutes. Madden and Kasey Sheets each posted three-goal hat tricks. Ferrum out-shot the Vixens 22-1, and closed with an 11-2 advantage in penalty corners.
