LEXINGTON, Ky. -- Jessica Chandler's goal in the 83rd minute of play was the difference as Transylvania University eked out a 2-1 Southern Athletic Association field hockey win in overtime over visitng Ferrum College this afternoon at Pat Deacon Stadium.

THE BASICS
Chandler scored a goal at 20:15 to give Transylvania a 1-0 halftime lead. Sierra Magdaleno scored an unassisted goal for the Panthers at 49:43 to send the game into overtime. Chandler then put a shot past Ferrum goalkeeper Courtney Gossin at the 82:06 mark to seal the deal for the Pioneers.
