FERRUM, Va. -- Ferrum College dropped a Southern Athletic Association field hockey game to Concordia University (Wisc.) this afternoon at home, falling 1-0 at W.B. Adams Stadium.

THE BASICS
Callie Neumann scored a goal for Concordia in the 16th minute of play off a pass from Sam Dunn and the Falcon defense did the rest to hang on for the league win. Concordia out-shot Ferrum 11-4 and closed with a 14-5 edge in penalty corners. Prior to the game, the team held a Senior Day ceremony to honor Kiani Mohica, Christina Moore, Kasey Sheets, Alicia Jones, Chanda Long and Courtney Gosslin.
