MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- #6 seed Ferrum College fell 5-1 to #2 Centre College in the semifinals of the 2017 Southern Athletic Association Field Hockey Tournament, played this afternoon at Rhodes College's Mason Field.

Sierra Magdaleno got Ferrum on the scoreboard with a goal in the 63rd minute of play. Emily Schank and Brooklyn Bell had a pair of goals each to lead Centre, which will play Sunday for the SAA Tournament title and a berth in the NCAA Div. III playoffs.
