FERRUM, Va. -- A forecast of inclement weather in Southwest Virginia for Sunday, March 11, has caused a number of Ferrum College athletic events to be rescheduled or postponed. Sports being effected include baseball, softball, men's tennis and women's tennis.

Ferrum's USA South baseball series with William Peace University, scheduled for a single game each Friday, Saturday and Sunday in Raleigh, North Carolina, has been changed to a single game Friday at 7:00 p.m. and a doubleheader Saturday starting at 4:00 p.m.

The Panthers' USA South softball doubleheader scheduled for Sunday at home against Greensboro College has been postponed. No make up date has been set yet, but will be posted when a decision has been made.

Finally, Ferrum's USA South men's tennis doubleheader with Methodist University, has been moved from this Sunday to Saturday, March 31. The Panther men will play twice against Methodist that afternoon starting at 12:00 p.m. along with the women, who will also face the Monarchs, at noon but in a single match. All three matches will take place in Fayetteville, North Carolina.
