FERRUM, Va. -- Ferrum College picked up a non-conference baseball win over #4 Roanoke College tonight at home, winning 8-7 in 11 innings at Panther Field. The two teams combined to have 17 different pitchers take the mound, 11 from Ferrum.

THE BASICS
Ferrum trailed 7-4 heading into the bottom of the seventh inning, but scored a run each in the seventh, eighth and ninth to force extra innings.
Christian Mosier led off the bottom of the 11th inning with a double down the left field line, moved to third on
Nathaniel Anthony's sac bunt, then scored the game-winning run on
Jake Martin's fielder's choice when Roanoke pitcher Ethan Delahunty opted to go for the double play by throwing to second base.
Garrett Dorton went 4-5 at the plate with a solo home run, a double, two runs and an RBI for the Panthers. Will Salva had a two-run homer in the first inning for the Maroons.
Bryce Amoriello (W, 1-0) was the 11th and final pitcher of the night for the Panthers, pitching one inning with one hit and no runs or walks.
