Hornets Hand Ferrum ODAC Field Hockey Setback

FERRUM, Virginia -- University of Lynchburg handed Ferrum College a 12-0 Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) field hockey loss tonight, playing under the lights at W.B. Adams Stadium.

THE BASICS
Lynchburg scored early and often in this one, opening a 6-0 lead after the first quarter with four goals from Marlou Wendriks. Three different players scored a goal each in the second quarter to make it a 9-0 game at the break. Lynchburg then added three second-half goals for the final 12-0 count.
