FERRUM, Virginia -- Ferrum College dropped a non-conference field hockey game this afternoon at home to Hood College, falling 7-1 at W.B. Adams Stadium.

Kylie Roessler open scoring for hood at 11:09 of the first quarter, then Hannah Sobchak made it a 2-0 game with a goal at 13:03.
Jenna Theron had an unassisted goal at 23:23 of the third quarter to trim the lead to 2-1. The Blazers scored another goal, this one by Olivia Sobchak as time expired to end the first half with Hood owning a 3-1 lead.
The second half was all Hood, as the Blazers scored four more goals, including two from Maddy Dillon.
