RECORDS
Ferrum (7-3, 0-1 ODAC)
Guilford (3-5-1, 1-0 ODAC)

THE BASICS
Ferrum College got on the board early to opening the scoring in the conference affair when Martin Zuluga found the back of the net to claim the 1-0 lead. Guilford would answer right back via a Giovanni Santibanez goal with Jasper Ardinger getting credit for the assist in the 15th minute. The Quakers would then take the lead when Ricky Aguilar bested Ferrum's keeper Daniel Golden. The Panthers would have to wait until the 33rd minute to find an equalizer, as it came from the foot of Kofi Mensah. Loius Scott would be credited with an assist on the play, and the Panthers would head into the locker room knotted up at two apiece.

The last stanza would be opened up with a Sam Caughlin goal from an Enrique Gudino pass in the 60th minute, and the Quakers would take the lead and not relinquish it. Aguilar would add on some insurance with his second goal of the game in the 74th minute to put the game out of the reach of the Panthers.

Leo Galpin was able to squeeze his name onto the score sheet in the 84th minute, with Zuluga getting his second point of the night via the assist, but in the end it was not enough for the Panthers to claw their way back into it.

Golden played all 90 minutes as the Panther's netminder, notching four saves. Zach Van Campen would get the win in the net for the Quakers, matching his counterpart's four saves.

BEHIND THE WHISTLE
"After a great start, we missed two 1v1 with the keeper and we weren't able to put them away. I felt it's a bit harsh on the guys with two PK's. We showed great battle but each time we were slowed down with PK's. We will build towards next week." --Head Coach Enda Crehan
