Leigh Ann Woodley joined the Ferrum athletic staff as Assistant Women's Basketball Coach in August or 2007. Previously she served as Assistant Girls Basketball Coach at Hidden Valley High School in Roanoke, helping the Titans win the 2007 Virginia A State title.

Woodley played collegiate basketball at Roanoke College one season before transferring to Hollins University, where she played the next three years. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Communications and Technology from Hollins in May of 2007. Woodley played basketball four years at Glenvar High School in Salem, helping the Lady Highlanders win the 2001 Virginia A state title. She is a 2002 graduate of Glenvar.
