GLEN ALLEN, Va. -- Ferrum College is in 10th place after opening-round play at the 2012 Ted Keller Memorial at the Par 72, 6882-yard Hunting Hawk Golf Club. Randolph-Macon College leads the 11-team field at 290, followed closely by Guilford College (294) and Franklin Marshall College (299). The Panthers shot a 323.
Kyle Fuller from Randolph-Macon leads a field of 66 golfers with his first-round 70. His teammate Kyle Jeans is a stroke back at 71, as is Guilford's Nick Shedd. Ferrum's top scorer was
Jacob Hardy at 77, good for a tie for 22nd place.
Scott Obenshain shot a 78, and is tied for 31st place. The final round will be played Sunday.
