Final Results

FARMVILLE, Va. -- Ferrum College's men's golf team closed out action at the 2012 Hampden-Sydney College Invitational this afternoon with a third place finish.  The host Tigers won the team title with a 610, followed by Bridgewater College (638) and Ferrum (650).

Bridgewater's Scott Wakely won medalist honors, topping the leaderboard with a 75-71-146.  Scott Obenshain was Ferrum's top finisher, carding 80-81-161 to finish in a five-way tie for 11th place.  Jacob Hardy shot a 79-83-162, finishing tied for 16th place.

Coach Adam Crawford's golfers will be back in action Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 29-30, at the 2012 Virginia State Intercollegiates hosted by Averett University at Danville Golf Club.
