NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Tate Dulany had a perfect 4-0 record with one pin as Ferrum College went 5-1 at the 2016 Gator "Boots" Duals, held today at McGavock High School. The Panthers entered two teams, with the A team closing the day 3-1 and the B team finishing 2-0.

Dulany was an anchor for the Panthers with four straight wins on the day in the 285-pound weight class, while Clifford Harrison (165) went 2-0 with a pair of pins for the Panther B team. Bailey Cooper (125), Logan Meister (157), Andrew Tolbert (165) and Blake Rosenbaum (177) all posted 3-1 marks.

Ferrum improved its dual meet record to 7-1 this season. The Panthers are currently ranked #23 among NCAA Div. III schools by InterMat Wrestle.

Coach Nate Yetzer's team will be back in action Thursday and Friday, Jan. 5-6, at the National Wrestling Coaches Association National Duals. The event will be held at the Prairie Capital Convention Center in Fort Wayne, Indiana. This is Ferrum's first NWCA Nationals Duals appearance.
