Zach Beckner (125 lbs) and
Clifford Harrison (165) posted pins to lead the #22-ranked Ferrum College men's wrestling team to a 32-9 win over visiting Greensboro College tonight at Swartz Gym. Beckner needed just 1:35 to record the fall in his first collegiate match during Ferrum's Military Appreciation Night.

Coach Nate Yetzer's team will be back on the mat Friday and Saturday, Jan. 13-14, at the 2017 Virginia Duals. The Virginia Duals is currently in its 37th year of existence, and hosted at the Hampton Coliseum by the Peninsula Club. The Panthers are the #2 seed and face Nassau CC Friday at 11:00 a.m. in the quarterfinal round. Ferrum placed third in 2014, fifth and 2015 and fifth in 2016.
