FRONT ROYAL, Virginia -- The Ferrum College women's golf team traveled down to to compete in the Shenandoah Fall invitational, a two-day event spanning October 8-9. The event was played at the Shenandoah Valley Golf Club, a par-71, 5505 yard track and was hosted by Shenandoah University.

INDIVIDUAL RESULTS
Isabel Trojillo of Marymount and Lauren Lombardo of Catholic shared the individual title, as both finished with a two-day total of 157 (+15). Lombardo held the two stroke lead after the first 18 holes, but a strong finish by Trojillo was enough to halve the individual title. Hunter Gillis of Marymount finished three strokes off the top spot at +18.
Ferrum's Jiwanan Masoot finished in a two-way tie for fourth with Averett University's Caroline Tamburstuen, just one shot off of the podium at +19.
The Panthers had strong showings from Hunter Tharpe and Caroline King, as Tharpe finished tied for 13th after a 86-95-181 and King rounded out the weekend with a 102-93-196 to finish 20th.

Head Coach Erick Cox and his team will round out the fall schedule at the Chick-fil-A Intercollegiate October 25-26. The two-day event will be played at Coosa Country Club in Rome, Georgia.
