BEHIND THE WHISTLE
"I'm very proud of our team's effort with a solid win at home during Senior night. The guys wrestled tough and put points up on the scoreboard. I would like to recognize our seniors, who have made big sacrifices during their time at Ferrum College. Each one of them has contributed to our program's national recognition. I couldn't be prouder and I expect big things in life for each of these four men! After our dual, I learned the NCAA cancelled the Division III winter sports postseason. It's unfortunate, I feel for the seniors and our team. They continued to show up and put in the work with all of the uncertainty of the season. I would like to thank our administration, sports medicine, and my staff for always giving their best effort to provide the best possible experience for our student-athletes. The event tonight was truly an amazing experience." --Head Coach Ryan Riggs
