LYNCHBURG, Virginia-- The Ferrum College men's basketball picked up a road against Randolph College in Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) action, 90-76 in Giles Gymnasium.

THE BASICS
Hunter Verling scored gave Randolph the lead on games first basket of the game. Ferrum then used a 9-0 run,
Johnny Franklin hit a jumper and one three-pointer with
Deshone Hicks scoring four of his season-high 31 points on the night. The Panthers took the lead at the 18 minute in the first half and never relinquished it the entire game. The Panthers led 45-37 at halftime.
Alfredo Abel-Rivera and Hicks combined for a 7-0 run just one and a half minutes into the second half, to extend their lead to 15 points. Randolph then used a 17-6 run to pull within four points, the closest they would get to taking the lead. Hick's layup with 2:03 left in the game, gave the Panthers a double digit lead they saw through to the end of the game.
