FERRUM, Virginia -- Visiting Johnson University (Tenn.) beat Ferrum College 6-3 in non-conference men's tennis action this afternoon at the Burrows-Skeens Tennis Courts.

THE BASICS
Tom Doherty and Nico Roth won 6-3 at #3 doubles for the Panthers, but Johnson earned wins at #1 and #2 doubles to carry the 2-1 lead into the singles portion of the match.
Patrick Marsh beat Jacob Keeling 6-1, 7-5 at #2 singles for Ferrum, while Kevin Nester won 6-4, 6-3 over Stephan Damon in the #4 spot.
The Monarchs won the other four singles matches to complete the non-conference road win.
