FERRUM, Virginia -- Washington and Lee University overcame a 21-point second half deficit to beat Ferrum College in Old Dominion Athletic Conference men's basketball action, posting a 90-89 comeback win tonight at Swartz Gym.

THE BASICS
Drew Harrell's three-pointer at 13:59 in the first half had the Generals on top 14-10. The Panthers responded with an 11-7 mini-run, tying the game at 21-21 on
Johnny Franklin's three pointer at the 10:37 mark. Ferrum expanded the lead to 45-17 on
Kam Harris' pair of free throws with no time left on the clock headed into the break.
The Panthers used a 6-0 run to open the second half on a three-pointer by
Tahli Oden and another from Franklin to make it a 51-37 game. Ferrum then used a 12-3 run to push the lead to 63-42, the largest advantage of the night for either team with 16:26 left.
Ferrum led 70-50 at 12:42 left on
Calvin Washington's pair of made free throws. The lead was 77-64 with just over six minutes left to play when the Generals started a frantic run that saw them use a 26-12 run in the final six minutes of regulation.
Robert DiSibio closed with 16 points, 13 of which came in the final six minutes for the Generals. His three-pointer with 23 seconds left to play trimmed the lead to 89-88, then following a Panther turnover, Sam Wise was fouled and knocked down two free throws for the final count wih 18 seconds left. Harris had a last second three-point attempt miss at the buzzer.
