FERRUM, Virginia -- Ferrum College fell to Washington and Lee 79-52 in Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) in Swartz Gymnasium this afternoon. Before the start of the game, Ferrum honored it's three seniors,
Kayla Cabiness,
Aisha Martin, and
Sadavia Felder.

THE BASICS
Washington and Lee started off the game off hot, on a 10-2 run in the first four minutes.
Trina Lewis and
Kayleigh Shreffler hit back to back jumpers to cut the lead to six. The Generals closed out the quarter with a 21-8 lead. After Washington and Lee took a 28-18 lead, Cabiness's three-pointer took cut the deficit to single digits. They then closed out the quarter with a 14 point lead going into halftime.
In the third quarter, Washington and Lee was able to push the lead to over 20 points and took 59-36 lead after three quarters of play. Quinn McGuinness's two free throws gave the Generals their largest lead of the day, 70-42. Martin and Shreffler scored Ferrum's final points of the game, first Martin went 1-2 from the line and hitting a deep three pointer. In their full court press,
