FERRUM, Virginia -- Ainsley Buckner had five goals and a pair of assists to lead Shenandoah University to a 22-6 Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) women's lacrosse win over Ferrum College this afternoon at W.B. Adams Stadium.

Prior to the game, the team honored seven graduating players:

Erin Reynolds. Also honored was Assistant Women's Lacrosse Coach
Carly Coyle, who will earn her master's degree in May.
THE BASICS
Shenandoah came out swinging, scoring three goals in the first two minutes of play. The Panthers fought back with
Willow Cooper and Kincaid scoring a goal each at 12:06 and 7:53 respectively, to make it a 4-2 game.
The Hornets then reeled off seven unanswered goals to take an 11-2 lead at 10:51 of the second quarter. Cooper,
Bianca Cellitto and
Erin Reynolds each found the back of the net before halftime, but Shenandoah built an impressive 14-5 lead at the break.
Cooper would score one more goal, at the 10:09 mark of the fourth quarter. She now has 99 goals and 14 assists, good for 113 career points.
