LYNCHBURG, Virginia -- The University of Lynchburg held a 11-0 lead at halftime over Ferrum College in route to a 17-3 Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) women's lacrosse win this evening at Shellenberger Field.

Lynchburg scored five goals in the first quarter and six in the second on their way to a 11-0 lead at halftime. The Hornets scored four more goals, before
Willow Cooper scored with 3:37 left in the third quarter to break the scoring drought.
Cooper scored again in the fourth on an assist from
Makaila Veney and an unassisted goal in the final minute of the game. The Hornets scored twice in the fourth, on their way to a 16-2 victory.
