FERRUM, Virginia -- Ferrum College picked up an Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) wrestling win at home over #20 Greensboro College, winning 39-11 at Swartz Gym.

THE BASICS
Adrian Samano (125 pounds) and Zach Beckner (133) started the things off for the Panthers, each posting a tech fall in the first period. Jon Ward (141) lost a tech fall to Greensboro All-American Josh Wilson. Joseph Olalde (149) then picked up a forfeit to make it a 17-5 Ferrum lead.

Tyler Ramirez (157) earned a 16-1 tech fall, Mateo Villalobos (165) secured a first-period pin and Franklin Melton pulled a hard fought 21-3 tech fall. Ethan Fragoso (184) and Joseph Toner (197) each lost a decision and the score was 33-11 Ferrum.

#7 Rayshawn Dixion (285) earned a first-period pin to remain a perfect 26-0 on the season with 12 pins. Dixion's pin made the final score 39-11.
