FERRUM, Virginia – Ferrum College's men's tennis team fell 8-1 in non-conference action to Johnson & Wales (NC) University this afternoon at the Burrows-Skeens Tennis Courts.

Johnson & Wales won two doubles matches to go out in front 2-1. Ferrum's
Tripoom Jala and
Gabriel Alvarez trailed 6-1 at #1 doubles before staging an epic comeback against Jonathan Millwood and Justin Wagner. Jala and Alvarez won six of the next seven games to tie the match at 7-7, then persevered with a 7-5 win in the tiebreak. The Wildcats then won all six singles matches to earn the dual win.
