FERRUM, Virginia -- Ferrum College picked up an Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) women's basketball win over Hollins University, winning 67-56 tonight at Swartz Gym, with Aisha Martin and Maslyn Mosbacher each scoring 16 points to lead the Panthers.

THE BASICS
Taryn Blankenship put the first points on the board for the game with a second chance layup off a shot by Allyson Cassell. The Panthers outscored Hollins in the first period 20-16, but  ended the first half on the short end of a 35-32 score.

The Panthers took control early in the second half, outscoring Hollins 18-13 in the third quarter, then used a strong late effort of 17-8 in the fourth to seal the win. Ferrum shot 41% from the floor, including 27% from behind the three-point line.
