BLACKSBURG, Virginia -- Ferrum College's equestrian team opened the spring portion of the 2024-25 season at the Virginia Tech Winter Blues IHSA horse show. 

Junior Abby McGuire competed in the Pre-Novice Equitation on the Flat and finished first. 

Sophomore Alexandria Vages-Caeran competed in the Novice Equitation on the Flat and finished seventh. 

The Panthers will be back in action Sunday, February 16, at Virginia Tech.
