HARRISONBURG, Virginia – The Ferrum College women's lacrosse team beat Eastern Mennonite 14-8 in Old Dominion Athletic Conference action today.
Ashtyn Bishop lead the Panthers scoring six points, including four goals and two assists.

THE BASICS
The Royals took the early lead 3-2 after one quarter. With 26 seconds to go in the half, Bishop found the back of the net, giving Ferrum a 5-4 lead. After the intermission, Freshman
Lana Barkovic scored back to back goals in less than a minute, pushing the lead to 7-4. The Panthers owned the fourth quarter 6-3 with Barkovic scoring two more goals to seal the victory.
Makaila Veney had 16 draw controls, breaking the Ferrum record for draw controls in a game set by
Willow Cooper in 2023. She also scored 3 goals and had 17 ground balls, tying the school record for ground balls in a game set by Caila Cummings in 2013.
Freshman
Cayden West played all 60 minutes in goal for Ferrum, recording 24 saves.
Faith Feazell had her first hat trick of the season.
