TIGERVILLE, S.C. -- Ferrum College's women's basketball team earned a Conference Carolinas win today on the road over North Greenville University, winning 64-45 this afternoon at Hayes Gymnasium.

THE BASICS
Ferrum raced out to a big early lead, with
Taryn Blankenship's layup at 4:39 of the first quarter putting the Panthers out in front by 12 points, 19-7.
Ferrum would go on to extend the lead to as many as 22 points in the second quarter on
Allyson Cassell's layup with 35 seconds left and the Panthers took a 38-19 lead into the locker room.
The two teams played evenly in the second half, with each team scoring 14 points in the third quarter and 12 points in the fourth quarter. The win is Ferrum's third straight.
