Brian Duclos joined the Ferrum sports medicine staff as Assistant Athletic Trainer in September of 2016. Duclos joined the Panther cross country coaching staff as Assistant Coach in September of 2017.

He previously worked for the Holderness School in Holderness, New Hampshire as an Assistant Athletic Trainer, helping cover the prep school’s 25 varsity sports teams. He worked primarily with the school’s football, soccer, ice hockey, basketball, and lacrosse teams. As a grad student at Plymouth State, he worked as a Graduate Research Assistant.
 
Duclos spent two years as an Athletic Trainer with Williston Chiropractic and Sports Medicine in Williston, Vermont. He also served as Athletic Trainer four years with the Next Level Basketball Camp, two years with Bitter Lacrosse Tournament, a year with the Nordic Soccer Tournament, and a year with the Stowe Running Camp.
 
Duclos is a Certified Athletic Trainer with the NATABOC and licensed in the states of Vermont, New Hampshire, and Virginia. He is also a member of  the National Athletic Trainer’s Association and the Vermont Association of Athletic Trainers. He holds certification as a Professional Rescuer CPR/AED as well as a NASM Performance Enhancement Specialist.
 
Duclos earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training from the University of Vermont in 2012, then went on to earn his where he recently earned his Master of Science degree in Athletic Training with a concentration in Higher Education from Plymouth State University in 2016. As an undergrad at Vermont, he ran varsity cross country and track & field, earning America East Conference Academic Honor Roll.
