Elyse Kiploks joined the Ferrum Athletics staff as Assistant Women's Basketball Coach in December 2021. She was then promoted to Associate Head Coach in July 2023.

Kiploks played two years of collegiate basketball at Charleston Southern University in South Carolina, where she graduated with her Bachelor of Social Science degree in 2017. Prior to that, she played two years at Coffeyville Community College in Kansas, where she earned her Associates of Liberal Arts degree in 2015. After closing out her playing career at Charleston Southern, Kiploks spent two seasons as Director of Operations for the Bucs women's basketball program from 2017 to 2019.

Kiploks went on to play five seasons of professional basketball in Australia in 2019, England in 2019-20, Australia in 2020, Spain in 2020-21, and Australia in 2021.

She also worked as Marketing and Social Media Coordinator at LearningHoo in Charleston from 2019 to 2021. Kiploks also served eight months as Marketing and Administrative Coordinator at PEK Human, based in Melbourne, Australia.
