FERRUM, Va. -- Visiting Bridgewater College posted a 3-0 win over Ferrum College in non-conference volleyball action tonight at Swartz Gym.  The Eagles won 25-20, 25-19, 25-16.

Bridgewater (12-3) was led by Erika Dirnagl and Mandy Hill, who had 12 and 10 kills, respectively.  Tricia Davis dished out 34 assists and had 13 digs.

Ferrum (3-10) got 12 kills and 10 digs from Jessica Flanagan, 17 assists from Jenni Carter and 11 digs from Lauren Thurman.

The Panthers return to action Saturday, Sept. 27, when they travel to Newport News, to take on Christopher Newport University and North Carolina Wesleyan College.  The Panthers face CNU at 11 a.m. and N.C. Wesleyan at 1 p.m.  Both matches are USA South affairs.
