EMORY, Va. -- Emory & Henry College scored with 14 seconds left in the game to secure a 24-21 come-from-behind football win over Ferrum College this afternoon at Fullerton Field.

Matt Dobson gave Ferrum its first lead of the game on a two-yard run with 6:08 left in the game. Emory & Henry was unable to move the ball far and turned it back over to Ferrum, which ran out just over a minute on the clock.
TJ Grzesikowski's punt was downed at the E&H 31 yard line with 2:44 shoing on the clock.
RB Caleb Jennings rushed for eight yards and a Ferrum personal foul moved the ball to the Ferrum 46 yard line. Jennings rushed four times for 19 yards and caught two passes for 21 yards, the last an 11-yard scoring strike from QB Drew Piscopo.
Jennings, who rushed for over 1000 yards last season, had 163 yards and a TD on 25 carries today. Dobson rushed 15 times for 67 yards and a TF for Ferrum.
Defensively, LB
Maureik Goode had 10.5 tackles for the Panthers. Evin O'Sullivan and Shane Wicks each had 5.5 tackles for Emory & Henry (1-0).
Ferrum (0-1) will be idle next week, returning to action Sept. 19 in its home-opener against Bridgewater College. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. at W.B. Adams Stadium during Family Weekend.
