DANVILLE, Va. -- Ferrum College dropped a pair of non-conference volleyball matches this afternoon at Averett University. The Panthers fell 3-0 to Virginia Wesleyan College and 3-0 to Bridgewater College.

Set scores against Virginia Wesleyan were 25--6, 25-9, 25-10. Ashley Ammann had five kills and five digs, Jessica Turner had nine digs and Emily Danner had eight assists. Tiffany Barrett and Alex Lambert had 10 kills each for the Marlins (16-12), while Kristin Sessoms had 24 assists.

Set scores against Bridgewater were 25-14, 25-18, 25-11. Ammann had six kills and five digs, Turner had seven digs, and Danner had 16 assists and nine digs. The Eagles (19-15) got 10 kills from Carly Casto, 31 assists from Lindsay Kallam and 10 digs from Mora Hogan.

Coach Jessica Flanagan's team closed out the season at 4-24 overall with the losses. The Panthers graduate two seniors, Kellee Lewis and Rachel Stratton.
