Reynolds had scoring runs of six and seven yards, and found Matthew Kennell for touchdown passes of 56 and 21 yards. Malcolm McCoy had Ferrum's other touchdown, a 17-yard run.

The Hawks rolled up 774 yards in total offense (312 rush, 462 pass) to Ferrum's 542 yards (250 rush, 292 pass). Reynolds was 13-22 for 292 yards passing, and rushed 22 times for 101 yards. Kennell had 116 yards and two scores on four receptions for the Panthers.

Starting QB Ryne Taylor was 12-16 for 209 yards passing and a touchdown for Huntingdon (3-0, 1-0 USA South). Backup Taylor Hughes was 16-21 for 253 yards and two scores. Austin Bennett had 117 yards and two touchdowns on 11 carries, while Brantley Carr had five receptions for 106 yards and two TDs.

Tarrell Owens led Ferrum's defense with 14 tackles. JD Swiger and Jake Green had 12 and 10 tackles, respectively, for the Hawks. The Panthers (0-4, 0-1 USA South) return to action Saturday, Oct. 5, at home against Greensboro College. The game will be part of Ferrum's Homecoming Centennial Celebration. Kickoff is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. at W.B. Adams Stadium.
