FERRUM, Va. -- Ferrum College had three players in double digits this afternoon, which led to a 70-57 USA South Athletic Conference women's basketball win over Huntingdon College at a packed Swartz Gymnasium.
Ferrum's
Kylene Culler had 15 points and three assists, while
Shea Smith added 13 points and six assists for the Panthers. On defense for Ferrum,
Jacole Hairston led the floor with four steals and Culler added three blocks.
Huntingdon's Pat Pickens produced 33 points and three steals on the day for the Hawks (8-4, 2-3 USA South).
Ferrum (10-0, 4-0 USA South) will be back in action Sunday, Jan. 19, as part of a double-header with the men's basketball team facing off against USA South opponent LaGrange College. Tip off for the women's game will be at 1:00 p.m. in Swartz Gymnasium. The men's game will follow at 3:00 p.m.
