FERRUM, Va. -- Ferrum College's well balanced attack produced eight players in double figures tonight in a 110-40 USA South women's basketball rout over Mary Baldwin College.
Lindsay Martin had 19 points for the Panthers,
Krista Cox had 15 points, and
Kemani Crawford had 13 points and 11 rebounds.
Jacole Hairston,
Kylene Culler, and
Katy Kipps had 11 points each.
Shea Smith added 10 points and nine assists, and
Jessica Rhodes had 10 points and eight rebounds.
Shanice Miles had 24 points for the Fighting Squirrels (0-14, 0-8 USA South). Ferrum led 50-18 at the break, and the Panther's out-rebounded the Squirrels 53-15.
Ferrum (13-1, 7-1 USA South) returns to action Saturday, February 1, at Meredith College. The USA South game tips off at 2 p.m. in Raleigh, North Carolina.
