FERRUM, Va. -- Cassidy Hayes had 16 kills to lead Methodist University to a 3-0 USA South volleyball win over Ferrum College tonight at Swartz Gym. Set scores were 25-23, 25-16, 25-21. Emily Danner had 17 assists and Sarah Hendrix had 12 digs for the Panthers. Ashley Ammann had nine kills and Jessie O'Conner had eight kills. The Monarchs (12-12, 7-4 USA South) got 39 assists and 12 digs from Maggie Harris, and 11 digs from Reagan Holloway.

Ferrum (3-18, 2-11 USA South) returns to action Saturday, Oct. 18, at a USA South quad meet in LaGrange, Georgia. Coach Jessica Flanagan's team will face host LaGrange College at 10:00 a.m., and then faces Huntingdon College at 2:00 p.m.
