RALEIGH, N.C. -- Jordan Link had eight kills and Emily Danner had 12 assists as Ferrum College fell 3-0 to Meredith College in USA South volleyball action tonight at Weatherspoon Gym. Set scores were 25-14, 25-21, 25-14. Sarah Hendrix added 13 digs in the league loss for the Panthers. Karlie Long had nine kills and Hannah Blaylock had 18 assists to lead the Avenging Angels (14-5, 7-1 USA South).

Ferrum (3-15, 2-8 USA South) returns to action Saturday, Oct. 11, at home when it hosts a USA South tri-meet. The Panthers play Piedmont College at 12:00 p.m., then Piedmont will play Averett Universdity at 2:00 p.m. Ferrum and Averett will close out the day when they square off at 4:00 p.m.
