ROCKY MOUNT, N.C. --
Kemani Crawford had 12 points and
Jacole Hairston had 11, including her 1000th career point, to help lead Ferrum College to a 70-49 USA South Athletic Conference women's basketball win over North Carolina Wesleyan College this afternoon on the road.
Kylene Culler had nine points and seven assists in the win, while
Lindsay Martin had eight points.
Katy Kipps,
Boreika Burwell and
Krista Cox each contributed seven points. The Panthers shot 54% from the floor.
Tiffany Bell had 14 points for the Battling Bishops (12-13, 10-9 USA South), while Shanice Goree and NeTaih Davis had 10 points each. Ferrum led 36-22 at halftime.
As the league's regular season champion, Ferrum (23-2, 17-2 USA South) will host the USA South Tournament on campus Thursday-Saturday, Feb. 27 through March 1. Coach
