FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. -- Ferrum College dropped a pair of USA South volleyball matches this afternoon on the road, losing 3-1 to host Methodist University and 3-0 to Meredith College. Set scores for the Methodist match were 25-27, 25-14, 25-16, 25-18. Set scores for the Meredith match were 25-16, 25-15, 25-21.

Jordan Link led Ferrum with 14 kills in the loss to Methodist. Emily Danner added 24 assists and Sarah Hendrix had 20 digs. Grace Crawford had a match-high 16 kills and Maggie Harris had 45 assists for the Monarchs (5-7, 1-1 USA South).

Link and Leteashia Clarke had eight kills each in the loss to Meredith. Danner posted 29 assists and Hendrix had 18 digs for the Panthers (1-10, 0-3 USA South). Karlie Long had 12 kills for the Avenging Angels (8-5, 2-1 USA South). Hannah Blaylock dished out 34 assists.
