BASSETT, Va. -- Troy Helton rushed for 119 yards on 23 carries for Ferrum College in a 56-21 USA South Athletic Conference football loss to Huntingdon College this afternoon at Bassett High School. The Hawks scored 42 second-half points in the league win.

How It Happened
The Panthers trailed 14-7 midway through the second quarter, but mounted a 12-play, 73-yard drive that took over six minutes, scoring on Samuel Martin's four-yard plunge to deadlock the game 14-14 at halftime. In the second half, it was all Huntingdon as the Hawks scored three touchdowns each in the third and fourth quarters, and allowed one late fourth-quarter score.
